This panel will fit 93 through 02 (4th generation Camaro and Firebird) F-bodies. It's made of .080 5052 aluminum. (same thickness as a nickel). 5052 is commonly used in aircraft and marine applications. It's super light weight and strength is ideal for this application. Panel exceeds NHRA requirements of .050 aluminum. Panel mounts on the interior side of the firewall. Our panel is an exact fit. Panel mounts using original hole locations. No need to drill any holes. A bead of silicon around the perimeter of the panel will seal out any fumes from the engine compartment. I recommend Permatex Ultra Black Hi Temp RTV Silicon Gasket Maker. Comes in a black squeeze tube. You can get it at most auto parts stores. Each panel has a sanded finish. Ready for paint to match you car's color or leave it natural sanded aluminum.
