This is a 1958 VW Triple Cab Barndoor Replica w/ many valuable, correct, real Barndoor parts. This is a one-off custom built truck. The amount of body work and fabrication that went into this build is insane. The front half and chassis is a '58 Panel. The rear bed section is from a '57 Singlecab. The front fresh air vent section was removed to make it look like a Barndoor. The entire dash was also redone to Barndoor specs using a Barndoor speedo pod w/ working switches.

2154 cc engine with dual 44 carbs,color matched tins, electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, 009, Gene Berg breather & dip stick, 72 pass mesa cooler w/ electric fan, and external oil filter.Also features an A-1 Sidewinder exhaust. I also have a freshly rebuilt 1641cc D/P that I will install along with new header and exhaust to lower price.

Transmission is a 3.88 r&p, stock 1st and 2nd, super beetle 3rd, and a .82 4th, 3rd and 4th are welded, HD side cover, super diff, and HD axles. Cruise at 70-75 all day long at 3200 RPM'S.

Front brakes are Camaro 11" front disk w/ custom caliper mounts custom built by OldSpeed, and stock rear drums. Chevy bolt pattern.

The suspension has been fully modified.. The rear end has been narrowed 3" to allow for an early type 1 swing axle transmission with straight axle kit. The front end has a 7" narrowed beam, 2 3/4" raised steering box, 3 1/2" drop spindles and 2" wheel tubs to allow for wheel sizing. This vehicle rides amazing for as low as it is.

Wheels are classic chrome Cragar 610. Fronts are 17" and the rears are 18" riding on Yokohama S Drives with less than 7,000 miles on them.

New wiring harness, Creative Engineering front/rear safari windows, custom wood bed slats, full length middle seat w/ fold down. Complete 2 tone gray tweed interior and grey cut loop carpet. The entire vehicle has been covered with Fatmat as a sound deadener.

Sound sysytem includes a Pioneer CD player w/ IPOD hookup, Pioneer 6" in front and rear 6 x 9's, and an Optima RedTop battery.

Fiberglass pressed bumpers have been professionally sprayed w/ Spectrachrome and clear coated(not a spray can) to give it a chrome plated appearance.This vehicle also features real chrome plated accents(emblem, mirrors, gate latches)
