The following Community Guidelines are here to help you understand what it means to be a member of HubGarage.com. Don't forget that your use of HubGarage.com is subject to these Guidelines and our Terms of Use.
So to break it down, the Hub is basically like Milton Bradley – for ages 9 to 109. This means content on the Hub should be rated "E for Everyone". These guidelines were created to clarify what is acceptable, and more importantly what is NOT acceptable on the Hub.
Do Not Post
Are you wondering if you should post that pic, video, blog or comment? If you have to think twice, you probably shouldn't post it. In case you need help making your decision, here's a specific list of WHAT NOT TO POST on the Hub. This covers, but is not limited to, most things that are not allowed on the Hub:
Play Nice
Our momma's taught us that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it all. We're a community of many diverse types of people, who all have the right to feel comfortable and who may not think what you think, believe what you believe or see what you see. So, be polite and respectful in your interactions with other members.
Think of the Kids
It's the kids who are going to carry on the automotive tradition. Let's give them a place where they can look, learn and carry-on the automotive tradition. Like we say on our photo upload page, don't post anything that you wouldn't show your mammy. Better yet, don't post anything you would hesitate to show to a child, your grandma, your girlfriend, etc. Please ask yourself if what you're uploading is really appropriate and filter your content responsibly.
Don't be Creepy
You know the types we're talking about. Don't be that type.
What Happens if You Don't Follow The Guidelines?
Here's the skinny. We're pretty fair folks who believe in second, even third chances. In most circumstances, we will remove your content, temporarily suspend your account, and send you a polite warning if you cross any of the lines listed above. If your account is suspended, you need to contact us explaining that you understand our guidelines and will abide by them in the future. If you continue to violate the guidelines, it will result in termination of your account without warning.
Wrap Up
The Hub is a family-oriented online community where father and son, grandfather and grand daughter, mother and son, etc. can visit and pass down the history, passion and traditional of the love of the automobile without the worry of being exposed to explicit or offensive material. We want the Hub to be clean and friendly. We've crafted these guidelines to ensure that everyone within the community has the experience they want. It's important that you understand the importance of moderating your content responsibly. If you don't feel that you can abide by our Community Guidelines as outlined above, maybe the Hub isn't for you.
The Hub is a truly incredible community of automotive enthusiasts and professionals who share a common love of cars, trucks, planes, trains, bikes, boats, and more.
