You can't Please everyone....You can Try, but it won't make a difference!
To All my Hub Friends and Fellow Garages,
I want to sincerely and respectfully apologize to all of you if any of my Galleries have offended you! But since they haven’t…. I WON’T. I received an email / message from “one” hub garage last night that was somewhat bothered by the Pin Ups and Galleries I have posted. Anything I put in quotes (“) will be his wording, not mine. It has never been my intent nor would it ever be my intent to offend the Hub community. I enjoy great looking cars, art, and photo’s of beautiful “women”, ladies, females, etc. I have never posted these photo’s he refers to as “T&A” to offend anyone. He stated in his first email that he was going to post his “grievance” about my garage today. I want there to be no doubt which garage he is referring to, if he should post his thoughts. It’s mine…1 BAD ASS Garage. For now, he shall remain nameless. If he decides to post his thoughts, he will point himself out. It is his choice to click on my garage or simply…pass it by. If I don’t like a TV or Radio program it is my choice to…Change the Channel!
I feel that everyone is entitled to their opinions. This individual was very sincere about what he believes, but his thoughts are not necessarily mine. He feels that “people are being tolerant of your (my) T&A postings.” I don’t know if this person feels that he is the self anointed Guardian, Judge, Jury, Protector and Official Over-See’er of the Hub, but I would fight for his right to express his concerns and thoughts.
There have been 7 emails to me from him as of this post and I hope for now, this issue has been resolved. Because of his comments, I deleted several of my Pin Up Galleries. This was my final email to him last night…. So, you’ve made your point and I really don’t know what other point you are trying to make. I will continue to Post Pin Ups as well as more Cars, but because of your thoughts, I will put more thought into what I post. Do what you feel you think you need to do and have a Happy Holiday Season. My Best to you and your family!
If this Garage does post his grievance about my Galleries, I will be happy to post not only his emails / messages to me, but my responses to those emails back to him. You judge for yourselves if I took his comments to heart.
Again, I sincerely and respectfully apologize to all of the Hub garages I may have offended, especially to the “women”, female, and gal garages if you were offended. Please feel free to leave any thoughts or comments you may have on this post or in my first 1 Bad Ass Vehicle Gallery. If you were offended, let me know. If you like my galleries, let me know. Either way….let me know.
I have received thousands of positive and appreciative comments from all but “one” garage. With that….Thank You to all of my friends and Hub Garages for your kind and funny comments and remarks about all of my Galleries and Photos. I will re-post this to make sure everyone has a chance to reply.

Tell ’Scott’, that Wild Bill likes your posts, thinks your galleries are about cars, pin-ups and other great ‘car-guy’ stuff and that if he doesn’t like it, Don’t click on it.
I personally choose to veer away from posting the ‘pin-up’ type of stuff in my garaage most of the time…(there have been one or two), but that is a personal choice. I DO NOT try to force my own beliefs on others who come here or post here.
There are very specific Community Guidelines that ‘Scott’ and everyone else can read and are expected to follow…...these are the rules set out by the ‘Hub’ creators…these are the ones we need to follow.
I must say that pin-up models have been a part of hot-rodding since the first guy got his girlfriend to pose in front of his car…I agree there needs to be limits, but I also am not a prude or a puritan…..
I think you handled this with maturity and kindness…..kudos to you…and to Scott I say, perhaps the ‘Hub’ is not a place for you…that’s too bad because I thought it was a place for every one….Oh yeah, one more thing Scott…..if you find it offensive…don’t look at it..DUH

Keep up the good work 1 BAD ASS GARAGE I see nothing wrong with what u are doing in your garage, and by the comments that are left from the other garages i havent seen nobody else object neither. Your garage is not offending, or not to me, he has the choice of clicking on or not clicking on to your garage, so if it offending him then dont click on to that garage, how many other garages is he clicking onto just to see the beautiful ladies, and is he leaving them emails also i dont think that I would let him concern me to much. I love your garage, your ladies, and your cars. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK R/Ts

I too choose to veer away from posting the ‘pin-up’ types in my garage, My garage is about the cars by my choice. Not that I don’t look, (I’m old, not dead) and if it’s your wish to post pin ups, go for it. I have always thought “if you don’t like the station, change the channel”. Cars and girls just naturally go together. Good luck with you endevors.

You have nothing to apologize for, although I am kinda saddened that you deleted items because of one person’s opinion. Perhaps I may “pick up the slack” in the future with some galleries of my own. I’m from the “when poked, I poke back harder” school of thought….. Nothing irks me more than these “holier than thous” that think they know what’s best for all of us.

i am 64 years old an i still enjoy looking at the girls i do have girls on my garage pictures they are with my grandkids and there strollers which i take pictures at all the car shows .

I’m a ”FIRM BELIEVER” In the first amendment! You don’t have to like what I say you also don’t have to listen! Just the same I happen to be partial to Oldsmobile’s! So is there a die hard Ford lover out there going to tell me I should only post pictures of Fords? I hope not and think not! Tasteful pictures of women do not offend me I don’t always look at the ladies that are posted on the HUB! But that doesn’t mean they should be eliminated! 1 BAD ASS there may be a different reason as to the emails and asking you to stop posting pictures of the ladies. It very well could be that “SCOTT” may be a little perturbed that you get more HUB HEADS looking at your posts than he gets looking at his. It has been said and proven on this site MANY times before that if you want high viewer counts just throw some skin on the picture and guess what the numbers soar! I really think it could all stand from jealousy but that is my opinion! But to change your style over one person’s opinion would only be cheating yourself of ENJOYING the HUB and would be cheating your HUB BUDDY’S from ENJOYING the HUB! Isn’t that why we are here to ”ENJOY the HUB COMMUNITY”? So my advice to you (not that you asked for it) is to KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ENJOY at the HUB and let “SCOTT” continue to do what he ENJOYS DOING at the HUB! You don’t have to agree on whatever that is that makes either of you happy! But this is my opinion and I really don’t care what people think of it!

As far as I am concerned when I log onto the HUB and see the pics at the top of the page has a female in it I make the choice to open the pic or not…If I think it will offend me I do not..(I normally open the pic to make sure). As far as I am concerned your pics are not distastefull or demeaning to female gender..So keep doing what your doing and the Hell with the rest!

I can see both points, but Pickiest Garage before you kinda riuned it by just going a little overboard. It is primarily a car site. I do like lookin’ at the ladies, but there are non car sites out there that show’em without clothes altogether and I do go to those sites. I Do very much enjoy pin ups, but I preferr the old school art (drawings and paintings) over the modern photograghy – even though I am a budding photog. I guess I am saying “Do what you want, you will anyway”, but maybe a little moderation will calm the waters and maybe make sure there is a car somewhere in the pic. JMHO

I would be happy to include more cars. I read your post on Scotts post of 1 Bad Ass, so I am aware of your thoughts and comments. He should take his own advise and get “over it” already. He stated that I receive more views from the Pin Ups I post. Any idea how many people have viewed my garage in the last several hours? Thanks to Scott….Thousands!! I am a Car Guy and if he spent the same amount of time looking at my Car Garages and the effort that went into building and restoring 1 Bad Ass, he would have realized that. I plan on Posting some friends cars tomorrow. Thanks again…JMHO

Here’s my 2 cents… I am a Christian and I don’t appreciate seeing half naked women on this site… it’s called the “Hub Garage”, not the “Boob Garage” eh… I love cars with a passion! I really appreciate all the cool cars and the great people on this site… I started when this site was just a baby and there were just a few with “Pin-Ups” and then came the really vulgar ones showing it ALL, I complained and they pulled it off the site. I do agree that if you’re offended by these girls, then don’t click on it! (you can choose)... I’m sure that there are many sites with all the naked women and porn you could ask for… I actually think that this site would be so much better without all the Pin-Ups… but I can’t control that and I won’t even try… that’s the Hubs responsibility eh! This is a great site and I will continue to be part of it, it’s like choosing to be “in” this world, but not “of” this world… make sense?... oh well, all you “Holy Rollers” know what I mean eh. Dude, you choose to do what you do and I choose to do what I do, and that’s to keep my stuff as clean and car related as much as possible. We have the freedom to choose eh… to do good, or to do bad… and if you don’t care, you are headed for disaster! I can tell that you care man… so just do your thing my friend… oh BTW, I really love that ‘61 Buick man! Best Buick ever dude! Sal, if he had emailed in a little different tone…This post and the ones that followed would never have happened. There is a way of making your views known without INSULTING, DEMEANING or THREATENING a person. If he had tried a different path the result would have been different. Read my entire POST. I beleive he has the right to his opinion as do you, and I also think he is one Hell of a Photographer!!! We can all learn something from this.
