Thinking about a Salt Assault project when I saw a ‘63 Vette Pro Mod body. If you had to have a door slammer, I thought that would be a really slippery starting point. The advantages are a body that has already stretched, wedged, with the front valance leaned out, and raised wheel-humps. Add to that an already designed roll cage and suspension. You just have to take it a step farther to adapt it to the salt. I looked at the other Pro-Mod bodies offered but this one has the best aerodynamics. Fun concept. Warning, this is not a cheap way to go salt racing.
