Alumicraft's All New 1936 Ford Car grille
Alumicraft Street Rod Grilles debuts our latest offering at the NSRA Nationals in Louisville, KY. An all aluminum 1936 Ford car grille. It is on display in the New Products room inside the vendor hall. The new products room will be closed to the public on Thursday for judging, but open Friday and Saturday for your viewing pleasure.
Our prior version of the ‘36 Ford grille always got good reviews, but many potential customers turned it down because of the fiberglass shell.
The new grille is ALL ALUMINUM! Including the removable side “wing” panels. They bolt on, so they can be removed to be painted. The insert itself comes standard with a front edge polish and satin sides, options include fully polished bars or chrome plated! The grille pictured above is our “stock” 3/8” spacing between bars. It is also available with our tighter 1/4” spacing for a more contemporary hot rod look.
Like all of our grilles, it is a direct bolt in replacement. The build jig was based off of an original Henry Ford built ‘36 grille, so it has the correct fender and hood profiles.
Another cool feature is that the trim band is part of the grille, so you don’t have to buy it as an extra trim piece!
