My latest "Dream Car" a '60 Studebaker Champ custom in the Feb 2010 R&C issue on News stands now
This was a fun one for me. If you look at the paint scheme on the Cracker box on the trailer, I lifted the paint scheme my dad designed for our first 14 foot outboard ski boat right down to the CF numbers on the bow.
Everyone one in our entire family learned how to ski behind that little boat. So this piece is a personal tribute to the little 45 HP Mercury outboard that could and did get two hundred + pound men up on a ski deep water start.
The Studebaker has a reworked Dodge bed that’s narrowed and has stretched Lark quarter panels on it.
