Concept I had modeled last year. To be powered by a 572 Ramjet. The idea is to Cross a Covette with a Hot Rod with rear mounted motor.
Every year my modeler and I do a concept car together for fun I create the concept and he creates the 3D model. this was last years.
Well before GM went into finanicial crisis I was talking to some people at Chevy about a whole marketing concept revolving around the car.
Keith, that is so retro/modern. Great job!
Thanks Carter. KK
Hey Dude,Your work is awesome man! Finally someone that thinks like me. There’s not a lot of us 3D artists out there that are crazy hot rodders and do creative stuff like you my friend. Most 3D artists do concept cars and do it fantastically man. Love all your work dude, I especially like your sketches, it’s what I do also and enjoy it a lot. It’s a great escape from all this hi-tech computer stuff. Check out my art when you can, I would love to hear your comments. Aloha and God Bless, Sal Salvador.
That is awesome!!! I hope someone builds it. (I wish I could build it!) Ed
I did comment on your cars yesterday I think they’re amazing!! Great style and flow on them check out your garage I left several comments on your designs. Yeah I need to learn how to 3D model myself. but for now I have a guy that works with me on my designs most of my stuff is hand rendered and then PS’d for back grounds. KK
I was hoping to get Chevy to pay for it and get one of the shops I work with to build the car. It’s an open project to anyone who whats to go for it. I’d work out a real generous deal on the design. and donate some time to the project where needed. KK
Thanks! I saw them… Those 3d models are very cool… Ed
That is just tooo kewl! I love the lines!
Thank you. KK
Awesome design Keith!
Thanks Robbie. KK
Keith, I really think this is one of your sharpest and most clever designs I’ve seen. It has elements that recall the looks of a classic early Sting Ray as well as the Cheetah, plus it has a mid-engine layout like the Cerv II. And it is a great blend of retro and modern styling. Awesome !Rocco
Thanks Rocco, I was just thinking one day what would happen if you combined a Mid Year Vette with a open wheeled Hot Rod, astuck the baddest crate motor Chevy has to offer in the back seat there was the Rampage’s inspiration. KK
This project is really nice. Already thought of a convertible version?
Really great work here. I can easily see this one on a world tour and, just as easily see it tearing up the tarmac on an autocross. I’d so badly want to drive the crap out’a this thing; it looks cozy.
You and me brother! All it takes is money. If GM get’s them self straighten out I’ll move forward with my plans to get Chevy’s sponsorship. Maybe it will become a reality. KK
this thing is killer! looks to me like you have a vette fetish. a vetish mabey?
Well it’s a Show Rod/ Sports car with Mid Year Vette inspired styling. I designed it as a counter to Chip’s Hemisphere.
I’d like to do my “special” photography on this one…. nice ride…
It’s only a 3D computer model at this point. I wish it was built. KK
I MUST HAVE GOOD TASTE,THE OTHER DAY I STARTED A MODEL BUILD FROM A 1963 SPLIT WINDOW VETTE,YOUR CONCEPT IS ALMOST EXACTLY A MATCH,I LEFT THE DIVIDER IN THE REAR WINDOW ! WHEN DONE I’LL SEND A PICTURE,LOVE YOUR WORK.
Thanks there’s a stream of consciencousness out there. KK
I’VE BEEN THINKING,SORRY ! HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT USING THE 1980,1981,1982 BODY STYLE WITH THIS SAME STYLE OF BODY MODIFICATION ,KEEPING THE FRONT ENGINE ? THIS WOULD SEEM TO ME TO BE A VERY APPEALING KIT CAR BODY !!!!!!!!!!! JUST THINKING OUTLOUD,WOULD LOVE TO SEE WHAT THEY WOULD LOOK LIKE. I GUESS I CANN START ANOTHER MODEL !!!
Actually no, but I just posted a blog with a body kit I designed for a mid eighties Vette. Check out my blogs.
Your idea might work. Only the Rampage doesn’t actually use any Corvette fiberglass it’s a one off body laid over its own chassis, at least that’s what I’m proposing.
It’s powered by a 572 Ram jet BB in front of a C6 transaxle. KK
Love your work, you’re very talented – the designs are awesome!
Thank you and have a great Holiday and a Happy New Year!. KK
nice! i love the retro hot wheels feel.
Thanks That’s my era I grew up with that as my influences it was timeless then as it is now.
WOW….I can’t say anything more…just WOW
Great work! Awesome looking Ride. Color, stance design…It’s all there.
wow that wants building it looks awesome
Wow i would like to make a car like that. OK?
All you need is a client with the money and the desire show it to some of your clients and see what happens.
