CV Circle Track Oil Pump
At this years IMIS show in Indianapolis, the dirt Late Models garnered without question the most attention from manufacturers with new products and technology from bumper to bumper for these exciting race cars. Among those being unveiled and found in the CV Products booth was an all new oil pump that’s so new it doesn’t even have a part number yet. CV’s oil pumps are used in a majority of Sprint Cup cars along with some Formula 1 teams, and they have trickled that technology down to the pro-sportsman racer at a fair price with this new pump.
This pump is purpose-built for dirt track racing and is designed to be user-friendly with laser etched section numbers for quick servicing in the pits between heat races. The pump features a pressure section situated up front as close to the pulley as possible for minimum shaft deflection, and each section of the shaft has a bearing support. It has a very stiff mounting design, and has a power steering adapter incorporated into its construction. The exterior is hard-coated and wear resistant to cope with the often brutal environs of a dirt track. CV Products expects to release this new pump on January 1.- Purpose built for dirt track racing
- User-friendly design with laser etched section numbers for easy rebuilding
- Hard coated and wear resistant finish
