Automotive Design Pavilion at La Dolce Vita Automobili at Black Horse
Wow! Our Automotive Design Pavilion is shaping up nicely. Several graduates and students of the Academy of Art University School of industrial Design are coming to our event from San Francisco and setting up a working studio. They will bring two INCREDIBLE painted clay models of their version of Ferrari cars 50 years from now. These things about three feet long. They are also bringing 3’ x 4’ drawings and will have computers displaying mass designs produced by guys that will shape the cars of tomorrow! We’ve convinced them to set up and “draw what they see” and we’re giving them plenty to choose from seeing as how there are several dozen Lamborghinis in every single color of the rainbow coupled with other exotics and sports cars. Now, the Art Center in Pasadena is getting involved. This is really exciting. The vein running deep through this beautiful event that showcases Italian and other European cars is “The preservation of admiration for collector cars among future generations”. Buy a ticket and you can bring one guest age 17 and under free! Hopefully, you’ll be turning him or her on to the magnificent world of collector cars, a passion to last a lifetime.
