1951 GMC Bookmobile Used as a mobile Library in the 50’s and 60’s currently rusting peacefully as I build a diesel front wheel drive chassis for it…...stay tuned for updates
Very cool. Lots of potential.
thanks, building the frame can’t wait to drop the body on
I’m seeing red – with a big Hub logo on the side ??? :)
it costs more for red paint, wink wink, nudge nudge,.... you’ll have to wait and see the renderings….coming very soon
Wow. Amazing find. I loves me old, unique trucks!
Very cool! Would look awesome two toned Black and red.
Cool project. I have really been considering a COE for my 2002 four door f-350 as a front clip conversion. Make it a four door, and have the whole cab tilt forward to access the engine and such.
Can’t wait to see your finished product!Very cool.
Awesome truck, I can’t wait to see one of these built up!
I think it would be sooo full of character hammered on air suspension, large painted Dayton wire wheels, and the paint left as is!! Very cool truck!!
i love your old bus i just got a 47 mini school bus will start on it soon
Move over milk truck, nice fresh thinking way way out of the box. Will
Why front drive?
that way the drive line does not take up any interior space or intrude in the floor, and because I can….
Thats gonna be cool!
It is very coool just leave it rusty thats the baddest thing. get more attention
I wish I could, but it needs to grow a bit bigger and longer, and I am not to into putting on fake patina. but I am keeping the rusted signage for some cool shop decorations
What a cool machine man! Dude, with your permission, I would like to do a CG Photoshop resto for this thing… is that ok?... let me know, I do total resto and customizing with my computer to show people what their Dream Machine will look like all finished, even if it’s all rusted out like this, the more rough, the better for me to show it all tricked out with custom paint, chromed wheels etc… Get back at me soon, blessings, Sal Salvador… my email is SpaceRods@gmail.com
the fact that I lust over a rusty old bookmobile probably says more about me than I care to think about…
Any new pictures or updates? That thing would be a great company truck for me. If you ever decide to sell it?....
Very Cool Ride
