I have had this CRX for about 6 years. I’m the 3rd owner. I had bought it from a GREAT friend, Justus Emerson. He had started to build a full on drag car. So everything was stripped. The car was a rolling chase when i got it. Complete basket case. I got it running very well with a LS/VTEC build. Was on my way to Edgewater Race Way and blew the engine on Interstate 75. That was a very sad day. Since then I have started over on the car. I have put a layer of Dynamat Xtreme in it, and DynaPad under the front feet area. I had removed ALL the stock damping material. I weighted it in over 75lbs. I had only put back in maybe 50lbs. of Dynamat. The car before was VERY unbearing to drive. SUCKED!!! It has a full interior in it now. With everything that I have done, I’m looking forward to a car that will get GREAT gas mileage but, be very fun to drive. Please stay tuned to more pics. I should get the engine from Stewart Racing Engines in Indianapolis next week!!! It will be a 12.5:1 with SRP Pistons. Scat connecting rods. BLOX Racing Cams, Springs, and all head internals. The Head is built with all BLOX by Jim Stewart @ Stewart Racing Engines in Indianapolis, IN. The goal is 100hp per liter, ALL N/A!!
UPDATE* 5/3/08 Engine is installed and running. I have put about 55 miles on the new engine. We put a safe program in the ECU. I will put about 150 miles on the engine with the startup program. Once I have the engine broke in, we will put a more aggressive program in.
