Back from the road trip...
Two weeks on the road is enough! I had talked to the guys here at Hub Garage before, but working right near them for two shows in a row pushed me over the edge. I’m here now, sharing the madness that is the Hub Garage.
The Detroit AutoRama was a great show to attend. The selection of cars is top notch, and the breadth of interest was unusual. My personal favorites were Chip Foose’s P32, The Orbitron and this wonky little four seat Isetta with a Rat Fink style paint job and a blown 4.6 Rover hanging out the back. Wild.
The next weekend, we were at the Hot Rod and Restoration tradeshow at Indy. Poteet’s sedan delivery and Scott from Dynamats’ stylized 32 caught my eye, but for me the show stealer was the bright orange reproduction Yenko. A chambered exhaust and racing gas really excited the senses as it drove in.
I visited with several of our trailer manufacturer clients in between, and it’s really nice to know that there is still an audience out there that appreciates quality, US made products like ours.
