CARZ OF THE FUTURE

In 1923 this is what some automobile designers thought the future of transportation would look like.
The car of 1973 will be genteel; far more suited to a night at the opera than blowing down the motorway. The emphasis will be on spaciousness; a bubble canopy for clear views, and if speed is required, then helicopter blades are the obvious answer.
I wonder if this car came with training wheels….LoL

Joe, I think my Cousin’s buddie’s sister’s husband’s nephew’s Dad had one of those in Green…but it played havoc with windshield wipers !
Legend has it that he later traded it in on a Geo Metro, with whitewalls, and tried to install a Bubble Top on it also…with disastrous results: The “bubble” wasn’t secure and both he and his wife were drowned during a torrential downpour in the Arizona desert on a Route 66 trip sometime in September of 1975.
( Some said that in their earliers year the Husband had a remarkable resemblance to “Archie Andrews”, and the wife to “Veronica Lodge”.)
You be THE man, JoepeP !
