The weather was spectacular in Minneapolis today. Pulled together a last minute cruise to a local event with less than 24 hours notice. We had six cars participate in the cruise and 21 cars at the event. Tonight was “event kick-off” for a wednesday night cruise-in at a motorsports bar and grille located in Cottage Grove Minnesota. Place is called American Motorsports Bar & Grille and is owned by a guy connected to the race industry.

The show started at 5pm so we arrived a bit late at 7pm. We ate some grub, talked shop about cars and came back out to only a few cars remaining in the parking lot. I got only a glimpse of a new ZR1 as it was leaving. Some of the others on our cruise ducked out early to check out the car. I’ve yet to see one up close. He was one of Viper Keith’s buddies so I hope to see him join us next time.

Had a great time. I enjoy these smaller events as I get to meet everyone that way.
