1000 views and the battle of corrosion
Last night I logged into the Hub and to my utter amazement I saw that my little corner of the garage had been visited over 1,000 times! Now I know many of you are well beyond that and even have more buddies than I have views, but it still amazes me that others have the interest (or nothing better to do) to check out my garage.
Everyone has been cool and I hope the Hub stays that way. So raise a “cold one” in the air, keep your ego in check, and enjoy all that is good in the world of gearheads and automotive enthusiasts.
But not all is good. As Rush sang “there is trouble in the forrest.” In this case my driveway with my truck.
There are challenges that come into ones life that will stop you cold in your tracks. The question is do you fight to overcome and succeed? Do you try and fail? Or do you wet yourself and run away?
I chose to fight with tools of mass corrosion to get my wheels off and eventually my brakes.
The moral of the story? The piles of crap you have kept for years can actually become useful at least once more (unless you threw it out and then you will be kicking yourself…and paying for it again), and take care of your truck or you will be going thru this again.
For the gory details, photos, tools, and battle itself check out the “Rust Sucks”vehicle. Thanks for stopping in.
