A fantastic saturday at sunny Cordova NHRA Dragstrip in Illinois. We had a blast watching the nostalgic nitro cars and all of the drag cars in general along with a great time talking with all of the historic drivers from the 60s and 70s. A walk through the pits was a great way to get a full blown face and nostril fix of raw nitro as these guys were more than willing to watch you get up close and personal with the Zoomies blasting Nitro out their pipes. We took to Nitro/dragracing virgins with us and had them stand right next to the ChiTown Hustler when they did a test warm up. You should have seen them jump and run crying out for their mommies. It was a great time up until 5:30 when hurricane force winds and rain came out of nowhere and sent everybody for cover and then it was clean up time and back to racing. We have a bunch of pictures in my Garage.
