Hey, where’d you get MY car? Being born in ‘46….I naturally have a love for those old Ford/Merc Coupes like your ‘48. Hope you’re going to do her justice….........she deserves it after 62 years, right? Street Rod? RestoMod? Gasser? Whatever…....she’ll look FINE, I’m sure! Good Luck, eh?

have fun with the t-5 .i had to cut the input shaft off 3 quarters in.and cut the shaft off the throw out bearing rests on. works good!

Thanks for the tip, I’ve been reading up on the HOW TO SWAP sites too. I ordered an 11 in. clutch today and I’ve got a tilted hydraulic bellhousing with an external slave from a Camaro. What car do you have the T-5 in? Just curious.

i had a 4 and installed a 1985 4.3 v6 in my s-10. 11in. presure plate. the 11 in. disc would not work. had to get 10.5 from summit. works great!
