After looking for ten years, I found a restored ‘Bullet-Nose’ sedan ten minutes from my house. After just half a dozen drives in the car, it was stripped down for paint. That didn’t work out too well as the painter had no clue. In disgust, the car was transformed into a pro-streeter complete with half tube chassis, sheet metal diff, wheelie bars, big tubs and massive cage. Rolling stock consists of 33×21.5-inch Mickey’s on the bum and 145 Michelin’s up front. Initially set up for a big block Chev, the purchase of a V10 Viper engine and gear box has seen us go in another direction. Two turbo’s are destined for the engine package. We’re aiming for 1100-1200hp on pump fuel. Paint, trim and some big diametre wheel are to follow soon.
