I’ve owned my Viper for 12 years and driven it almost every day (rain or shine). This car is almost bone stock, except for Stop Tech brakes, high flow cats, air filters and a track alignment with corner weighting).

Over the 12 years of my ownership, I have taken this car to the local road racing tracks over 70 times. It is a true drivers car that demands all of your attention… on top of this the car’s torque curve hits you at such low rpm’s that there is no padding for forgiveness. The torque starts at just over 900 rpm. This reduces your margin for error dramatically when driving this car at it’s limits. If you don’t respect this car’s performance, then it will bite you in the a$$ in a heartbeat. I guess that’s why 40% of these cars have been totaled.

There are absolutely minimal amenities on this car. There is no ABS brakes, no traction control and no cruise control.

There’s something special about owning a car that is constantly trying to hurt or kill you… and driving it every day.
