This is a true story you may find hard to believe. It snowed for about 18 hours non-stop here in Dallas yesterday. While at work the boss decides it may be a good idea to remove the snow from the parking lot. He didn’t come up with the obvious idea of closing….oh no…...let’s get out there in the parking lot and move the snow…...now keep in mind this is Dallas Texas….we don’t have snow removal equipment on hand….....so what is the method of snow removal…..the manager figures that a squigee will work on the parking lot….so he grabs the two squigees and asks for volunteers. This is a picture of the manager and the new-guy using squigees to remove snow from the parking lot (the smart ones and lucky ones avoided this task)......the snow was falling so fast it was like using a tea cup to bail water out of a sinking Titanic…....Eventually the owners wife showed up and ’suggested’ that this was a waste of time and was only making the situation worse…...
For the record…that is the same thought that myself and others in the shop had voiced previously, except that we are mere peons and our opinion means little…....
Sometimes I wonder what people are thinking when they decide that ideas like this are good ones…....
