2012 Mustang GT prototype ?
Sometimes you get it all mixed UP! Being a custom car builder, classic restoration, heavy collision repair shop and mentor for training young hoodlums all rolled into one. In this case one of my very talented & determined young craftsmen bought a brand new Mustang GT for the sole interest in changing the body style to look more like a 68 Fastback. With the availability of aftermarket sheet-metal why not! Yes it will be all steal, even the headlamp buckets are hand made from sheet-metal & tig welded. Let me tell you It was not easy to make that first cut on this brand new car with out even a scuff on it! So don’t try this at home if you weep at the sight of a paint chip!
At twenty two years of age Johnny Sparks has more talent, determination, desire, ability and enthusiasm than anyone I know! So I’m helping him out with this project that will sure to be a head turner at shows and events, I think we can probably even get a few magazine to take interest in it. Well there is a long ways to go with all our current projects so I better get back at it I hear Johnny back in the shop cutting away the right qrt panel. I’ll post a few pictures in my album. Wish I had time to watch the Super Bowl !
