New 55-57 chevy Bodies

posted in: blknfastguy2 garage, news on November 07, 2009 at 09:22 PM

I am conducting a marketing survey. There is soon to be a complete steel 55-57 chevy body.I am asking you the Hubsters what would you be willing to pay for an all newcomplete body? Currently Cars sells a partial 69 camaro body for $15,000. Dynacorn sells their none complete 55-57 for a starting price $35,000. I am suggesting the market is more near $15,000- $ 17,000. for these Bodies could be cheaper if they are sold disassembled. What do you guys think?

i take it is just the body with doors hood and trunk…no trim pieces or moldings..you would have to get n.o.s. so i would say your in the range…after getting all the extras, you are likely talking over 50 g’s not bad..i would get one..ifen i wasn’t on permanent disability…

15-17K sounds about right to me. A decent chassis will run about another 10K. I don’t think the 50K mark for a completed ride is realistic, closer to the 100K mark by the time you figure drive train, interior, paint mouldings, wiring, a/c, etc.
