About
I bought this car in February of 2005. I bought it solely because of the color – Ember Firemist. I hate this color. But I think it looks really good on this car.
This particular car came around to me twice. The first time I saw it I was looking for a car to drive around the country for three months in. This car was not up to the challenge, but I loved the color on this body style, so it went on the list of cars I want. Five years later, I went to look at a 67 eldo in Ember Firemist and figured out it was the same car (though mauled even more than it had been by the teenage grandson of the previous owner).
I once met the guy who was supposedly key in the design of this car, he asked me if I didn’t want to change the color on it – jerk.
