67-72 CHEVY GMC TRUCK HEATER DELETE PANEL

67-72 CHEVY GMC TRUCK HEATER DELETE PANEL

This 2pc panel fits 67 – 72 Chevy trucks, GMC trucks equipped with heater only. Our panel is made of .080 thick 5052 aluminum. (Same thickness as a nickel). 5052 is commonly used in aircraft and marine applications. Super light weight and strength is ideal for this application. Our heater delete panel is an exact fit. Panel mounts using original hole locations. Blower hole cover can be mounted with silicon. No need to drill any holes unless you want to fasten the blower cover with screws/bolts. Panel exceeds NHRA requirements of .050 aluminum. A bead of silicon around the perimeter of the panel will seal out any fumes from the engine compartment. I recommend Permatex Ultra Black Hi Temp RTV Silicon Gasket Maker. Comes in a black squeeze tube. You can get it at most auto parts stores. Each panel has a sanded finish. Ready for paint to match you car’s color or leave it natural sanded aluminum. You will not find this panel for less. We’ll have a 1pc soon available. We have more heater delete panels available for other cars/trucks. Please visit our store for more products and read our feedback. Thanks for looking! LRE Fab Shop.

when a heater was deleted, is that mean that the complete heater box assembly was gone (on both the engine compartment and passenger compartment sides) ? GMC truck parts are difficult to understand

You can still have the heater box in the passenger compartment. Just need to take out the heater core. When you remove the heater housing/blower motor from the engine compartment. The heater will not work.
