We are in the early design phase of a small and unique 50’s unibody British car build and are considering integrating Subaru WRX STI all wheel drive with Boxer 400+ H.P. turbocharged madness in lieu of traditional full frame rear wheel drive V6 or 8
Question is; how would the Hot Rod world react? Are you ready for this?

Yeah, that would be a really cool build. I really like when builders step outside of the box. I’ve seen a few really well done all wheel drive builds, for most builders it’s too much work to do it correctly. I’ll be watching for build picks, sounds cool.

Great support for this on the Hub but frowned upon otherwise; Hot rodding is not yet ready to welcome Foreign drivetrains. We will instead sneak up on them by using 280Z floors, inner fenders, firewall, etc. Upgrade the suspension with ArizonaZcar goodies and Q45 rear. We’ll use traditional drivetrain and may want to use one of your V8 conversions for that. This should give us the autocourse handling we want and be welcomed to do so. I’ll post the rendition soon.
