Anybody have rust issues with their Wheel Vintiques Magnum 500 wheels? Please see my blog for a copy of the Nov 8, 2010 letter I sent to the president of Wheel Vintiques. No answer as of 12/19/2010 – what an arrogant company!

In July 2008 I purchased four Wheel Vintiques Magnum 500 wheels for my 1969 dodge Charger. On 10 / 2010, much to my amazement and disgust, I noticed two of these wheels were showing rust through the chrome. The car spends most of its life in the garage, is not driven in the winter, and the wheels have been washed a few times and then towel dried. This rust indicates a very poor quality Wheel Vintiques chrome plating process.
