About
History of this Vehicle
Picked it up when it was still a shell. Since I have had it I put a steel insert in the top, the donor was a 2000 Ford Excursion, it fit real well. Built a stainless steel gas tank to fit thecontour of the back and put the fill door in the middle. Upgaded the front end with tubular A-arms. Vintage Air (for the Mrs.) Built 351W and an AOD with a manual valvebody/transbrake. Drove it from Lou, KY to LA, CA and back in Sept 2006. Traveled as much of Route 66 as possible.
Plans for this Vehicle
Some day I plan to finish the paint job, but right now it is just too much fun and I have several other projects going on.
