The latest product from Flaming River is this great new universal power rack and pinion. It is interchangeable with the Mustang or Omni rack and will retrofit in a variety of street rod and muscle car applications. This is an all new unit, not remanufactured, made from new components including the valve, piston, seals, bearings and bushings, and pinion and rack gears. Since it is a new unit, there is no core charge when you buy it.

It features an adjustable pinion so you can get the universal joint angle you need for your specific installation. The rack shaft, at almost 1 full inch in diameter, is the strongest rack shaft on the market and it gives almost 6 inches of travel for an improved turning radius.

Other features include braided stainless pressure lines, billet pillow blocks, low profile design for additional clearance, and a finned valve that acts as a heat sink. Flaming Rivers new universal power rack and pinion is available in both 41.69” and 45” overall lengths and they are proudly made right here in the USA.
