Center Cap

Center Cap for GMC Cabellero
When I bought the car, it only had two center caps, and the previous owner said he had looked for some. Well, so have I. I have sent that photo to most Hub Cap Annies I could find. My boyfriend finally found two with Hubcaps on Wheels.com. Ron at Hubcaps on Wheels said in thirty years in the business those were the only center caps he had seen with that emblem. That emblem is also on the grill.
If there is anyone out there that has seen an emblem like this and call tell me more about it, I sure would appreciate it! Also if you know where I can find more, please let me know that too. The wheels are rally.
thank you!

I had a late ‘70’s Monte Carlo in high school and it had Caballero wheels on it, I might have one or two centers for it I’ll have to go dig through my storage space. I’ll keep in touch.

That would be cool!
Can you tell me anything about the emblem? Is is a true GMC emblem? Does it mean anything?
Thank you!

Did your Monte have Rally wheels?
And what did the grill look like?
The symbol on my center caps, is the same symbol on the grill.
Thanks!

Wow, I’d have to see if I have any pics of the car. I don’t remember if the grille emblem matched or not, that was almost 20 years ago. (Damn now I feel old!!) But I’ll see what I can come up with.

No, you are not old… not any older than the rest of us….
The pics I find of Montes back then have a different grill than my Caballero…
the symbol is similar, but not exact.
thank you for your help!
