WOW Dude, Love this Vega SW man! I had a Vega Panel Wagon in Hawaii that was powered by a very strong SB Chevy, did 10’s in the quarter mile, had to sell it when we moved to Texas… everyone says I’m crazy to move to Texas from Hawaii, I just tell them that a coconut hit me in the head, got brain damage… and decided, hey, lets move to Texas… DUH. Check out my SpaceRods when you have some time, www.SpaceRods.com

Love that Vega coming off the line! A friend of mine restored the 1972 Jungle Jim Vega wagon. I”ll have to get him to join and put some pictures on.

Hi Are Vega is original panel wagon too. When we first bought it – it was white with 2 van seats one green one red. It had a V8 in it with side pipes. It also had a 12 bolt rear end and we used to drive it on the street. In 1990 it became just a drag car. We bought the car in 1985 and thru the years we have always drag raced it and changed it. It is now back halfed with a Dana 60, we removed the panels and replaced with glass so we could see the dragsters coming down the strip at us..Sometimes we wish we would have kept our car like yours. Best of the best to you F & D

Hi, We have our vega since 1985. We drove on Street at first. It has changed alot through the years. When I got the car it was white with sidepipes. It is a panel wagon too. It’s neat how the title reads truck. You have some sweet cars on your web site. Thanks Frank
