68 Camaro Convertible show car that is tricked out with a chromed out blown, juiced 350 and much more

History of this Vehicle

I bought this car for my son to drive to high school. He drove it for more than two years. I know he had a lot of fun, because he still won’t fill in all of the details.

We started a project to replace the rear quarters, then got carried away. re replaced the floor, the rockers, the trunk, the front fenders, the hood the trunk lid, the tail panel, the front valance, the doors and the radiator support. I fabbed a custom roll cage that strengthens the convertible without making it look like a race car. Then my good buddy applied the perfect paint job with ghost flames. Even the bottom of the car is finished.

Next came the interior which was based on black leather racing seats. A friend of mine made custom door panels and a rear seat. I built speakers in the rear quarter panels and the front kick panels. The trunk is also finished in black leather. housed in the trunk is two yellow top batteries, two 10 lb. nitrous bottles (in custom brackets made and sold by my company) two amps, one 10” sub and the air ride compressor.

The motor is a 350 with a forged crank, 4 bolt, slayed mains, h-beam rods, and forged blower pistons. The cam is a lunatti roller with roller rockers and a stud girdle. The heads are brodix race rite aluminum units that we ported and polished. The blower is wieand and the carb is demon. I fabbed the custom exhaust out of ss tubing. Electric cutouts change the rumble from mellow to loud. The tranny was built by coan and the 9” rear axle has mosier axles. the wheels are billet specialties and the tires are big.

This car has won best of show at most of the shows it has been to.
