Actually this was my first vehicle ever, but it has never been street legal since i’ve owned it. It was given to me by my late uncle when i was about 14 years old. Dad and i worked on it, but our plans for the truck were mixed as he wanted to restore it, but i wanted it to be cool! i won the battle when i took it to wyotech and cut the front of the frame off and installed a ‘78 TA stub. I couldn’t afford an aftermarket crossmember at the time, but this stub works well on these larger trucks. It has a 355 chevy, with iroc camaro rear with disc brakes. Right now it has 17 inch colorado custom slater wheels and is pretty low to the ground. It’s on the back burner right now, but i have hopes of getting it road worthy in the next few years. I have all new bed panels for it, have repaired all the rust. I want it to look like an old classic truck when finished. I don’t want too much bling, but i nice solid driver. I did drive it around the block a couple of times. Some of the work i did i’m not proud of now that i know better since working for Troy, but i plan on changing those things before i move forward. Last summer i step notched the rear of the frame .
