• Transmission: 5 sp Jerico 1 to 1 5th gear
• Suspension: Strut front..air ride front and rear.. 4 link..Winters Quick Change Rear
• Brakes: Red Devil Discs
• Exhaust: custom headers by Johnson's Hot Rod Shop.. dumps out the side of front fender

History of this Vehicle

2007 Bonneville Speed Week was the first year out for the Johnson’s Hot Rod Shop built Cadillac XLR Salt Flat Car owned by Bob Johnson. Record held at 222mph. We returned 2008 with Bob Johnson driving and a whole new set up with Keith Dorton of Automotive Specialitists Racing Engines getting on board with the project. A new paint scheme and we came within 1 mph holding a new Record. We will be retuning for the 2009 season to put this under our belt. Please stay tuned!
