Jay's Hub Garage

Thanks to you and your fellow Hub heads, the Hub is growing very, very rapidly. In a continual effort to provide the best experience for the Hub faithful, we made the decision to perform a major overhaul to the engine that runs the HubGarage.com.

The Hub crew has been busy this week spending long days and nights working on the upgrade. We have now moved from the modest little server we started on just a couple months ago to a brand-spanking new cluster of turbo-charged servers.

Essentially we have quadrupled our processing power, doubled our processing speed and tripled our servers. In automotive terms, this would be basically be like replacing a 4 cylinder engine with a V8, increasing the horsepower from about 200hp to 800hp, and then topping it off with a shot of nitrous. We also squashed some bugs along the way that we know have been annoying a lot of you.

What does this mean for you? Well, it means that your experience on the Hub Garage should be a lot better, and most importantly FASTER! Pages, photos and other content will load way faster and your uploading time should improve dramatically as well.
