About
This is our 2007 Daytona Charger R/T. This one is Sub Lime Green #1359-1500.
EDIT: We have since sold this car and are no longer the owners, but since it is so cool, I left the gallery up to view.
History of this Vehicle
We bought this vehicle because my mother got a job on the other side of town (20 Miles away), so we started looking at cheap economical cars like the civic and the jetta but we wanted a car that we could all fit in. For most families this is no problem but seeing as I am at 6’1” and 280 lbs. and the rest of us are not too small, we needed something bigger. Enter the Dodge Charger. We sat in a regular R/T and we all fit so we took one with the R/T package out for a test drive and we all loved it. My mom saw a picture at the dealer of the Sub Lime Green one and she said if we could find one in that color, then we could get it. We had to look for a few months because there were so few Sub Lime Daytonas left in CA but we found one a couple hundred miles away and bought it the next day.
It’s a great car, especially compared to the chargers of old.
We took it to Mopars at the Strip 2009 and it was great. It handled and rode fantastically on the way there and back. The only downside was that we had to go through a sand storm of sorts on the way home and now the windshield is slightly pitted. We didn’t get to show it this year or race it but you can bet that in 2010, we will be back.
Plans for this Vehicle
As of right now we have a Mopar Cold Air Intake that I put on but we are wanting to put on either a Mopar or Flowmaster exhaust kit when we get the funds together. We would do more but we are trying to keep the lifetime warranty intact.
