The first car I learned how to draw, was my Dad’s ‘61 Buick Special. I’ve always liked thse cars and so few people fixed them up. Yours is very well executed great job. KK

I worked at Stoked Out Specialties for awhile, till I went out on my own. Rich, Roger, Keith are all good friends of mine. Rich doesn’t have a profile on here, but Roger & Keith do. I remember your wagon, that was a really cool car, matter of fact, Keith just built one for himself. As far as this car goes, I just got it a month or so ago, then took it up to the shop and we bagged it and did a few other things to it so it hasn’t been around but for 3 weeks or so.

Very nice Buick also love the ‘62 Olds. Does the ‘62 Buick & Olds have air ride in them?

These 1962 BUICK SKYLARK is a beauty!!! I just saw one for sale on the Web and thinking of getting it. I am going to take a look a t it today because I don’t recall ever seeing one in person. I was hopping you can let me know what you did to get the car that low and the size of the rims and tires. The angle picture top side makes your car look so sweet especially the front bumper. Thanks…

Yeah, I love the lil Buicks too!! The lil red one was one of the best driving cars i’ve ever owned and wish i still had it. The wheels and tires on that car were a special order 4 lug billet specialties vintec in 18×7 on the front and 18×8 on the rear, the tires were 225-40-18 on the front and 245-40-18 on the back. The suspension set up was a stoked out specialties custom front control arm set up, with a firestone airbag, and the rear was just a set of standard spring cups with a firestone airbag with a air ride technologies air management system.

Stoked out Specialties is no longer in business unfortunetly. You would need to contact Roger Lynsky @ RPL Customs in Royce City Texas to see if he still has the jig fixtures to make the control arms, goodluck with your project.
