All original 235, 4 speed, step side. Came with the original title and the last plate (1974) still on. I am the 3rd owner.
History of this Vehicle
I found her down in Kansas last spring through another forum. After discussing it with my wife, I decided I couldn’t pass it up. I talked to the man selling it, and he had gotten it from the original owner ,along with a bunch of other cars, that were heading for the scrap yard. She’s very complete and apparently original to the Kansas area where I picked her up, just off the original Pony Express route.
Plans for this Vehicle
My plans for the truck are simple; I’d like to turn it into a nice, clean, daily driver with a traditional feel. I want to get it running, hop up the 235, swap to a more street friendly 4 speed, put the fuel tank under the bed, lower it 3 or 4 inches, disc front, white walls, steels, nice clean paint and trim with my logo on the door. The interior will be cleaned up, nice bench with belts and anchors for kids seats.
