I just couldn't resist!!!
As the former owner of both a Rottweiler and an Akita (in my pre-cars days), I pass this on!
If you are an owner of a dog that belongs to a ‘dangerous breed’ category and you also have a small child please take this as a warning.
Don’t leave your dog with the child unattended under any circumstances.
Only a little moment was enough for the following to happen.

I have a 13 1/2 year old pitbull named Bondo. I have similar pics of my two boys, however I never leave them unattended since they might hurt my dog!

Humorous but I know of an instance when a pit bull that had been around a child for many years turned on him and actually tore his face off. The child lived but had many hours of surgery and was badly disfigured. Don’t be fooled into thinking they are safe.

by ‘they’, I guess you mean dogs?.......because that story can be told, and in truth, be about every breed of dog, big and small. There are certain breeds that grab the headlines…but a dog is a dog is a dog. I have several friends and family that work at vet clinics and/or animal shelters and animals can act in very unexpected ways. If you fool yourself into thinking it’s primarily a certain breed or breeds that act like that…..you may find yourself or a loved one in an unwelcome situation. Just remember, dogs (all dogs) are animals and are subject to behaving like an animal.
Just like with kids..alot has to do with how they are raised…...but sometimes even if you show them love and try to teach them well, they go a little crazy and act out. You just can’t have your kids ‘put to sleep’ for it.
