Brand new HD Muncie 4 speed and scattershield
Now that the World Finals are over…...it’s official. N49 is the 2011 record holder in the B/GRMR class at 130.192.
Now we need to step it up a bit. THe engine is ut of the car and back in the hands of Walt. It will be torn down to check it over. e will be adding a Hogan dual 4 manifold with two 1050 cfm carbs. This will hopfully up the hp to about 760. We are also taking out the automatic trans and changing to a 4 speed Muncie close ratio prepped by Paul at Medatronics in Florida <5speeds.com>. It’s a brand new special box with a 1.17 third gear. This will allow the engine to stay in it’s max power range when shifting into high gear. It’s going to be wierd shifting into 4th at 235+ mph. The trans was also supplied with no reverse gears. Now to build the cable shifter with the air shifted 3-4 shift.
