4th Hot Rod Magazine cover for Nelson Racing Engines!!!!

Go get the issue on newsstands now!!!!

“Nelson Racing Engine’s 4th appearance on the cover of Hot Rod Magazine. We feel honored to be apart of this magazine this month. Our feature is about our new innovative billet products and our Nelson Supercar #003, owned by Randy Davis of Wisconsin. Randy originally came to us a few years back on purchasing a 377inch small block Chevy twin turbo engine. What you see on the pages of Hot Rod is the progression an engine purchase to a complete car overhaul. We were able to develop new products and showcase them in this beautiful 84 third gen. Every inch of this car has been gone through – this car represents what can be done with our new powerplants, new technology, and a well thought out plan. We set out to build a clean sleeper and ended up with a car capable of 8-second quarter mile timeslips at over 160mph – while still docile enough to tote around in city traffic with the air conditioning blowing.” – Tom Nelson

I read the article already and must say I have never been a big fan of of the 3rd gen Camaro (partial to the early gen II) but this is a sweet ride and I love how it was made such a sleeper.

Kudos to you guys and Randy!!!

Me too. I have never been a fan of a 3rd gen Camaro but this one is different… 1700+ HP different! When it was in the NRE booth at SEMA it got tons of attention, you cant walk by the opened engine compartment and not be amazed at the craftsmanship.

We love working with Tom Nelson and Nelson Racing Engines /Nelson Supercars, there is always a killer project going on.

What most of us would not give to have that on the street and slay any little punk (or any Vette for that matter) with a 1,700 pony Gen III Camaro!

I get goosebumps just typing that!

That is easily one of the sweetest turbo motors ever. I read the article last week and must say that the Gen. III here may convert a lot of folks!!!! I already liked them ( using the right build style)!!!
