VIP Status

What is the deal with the VIP thing . I see no info on it but yet I see new members with this status . is everyone keeping a secret from me ? Where is the featured photos selected from . If the HUB is still on Cruise Control , who is selecting the photos along with the Featured Garages .Is it a simple as paying someone off . Please , let me in on these secrets that have weighed heavy on such minds for centuries long .

While it used to have certain advantages, I think they were either disabled or those advantages were made available to everyone. Either way, it dosen’t do anything except look cool on your profile pic.
To get the status: Go to account settings and scroll down to VIP Status – Type in “HUBVIP” and you’re good to go!

The VIP Code started when the Hub was a private network. Initially to become a member of the Hub, you had to have a VIP code to get access to the network.
Once we opened up the network, members were no longer required to use a VIP Code to sign up. At this point, we created a “sash” on the profile to distinguish who was around for the VIP days.
VIP Codes are now used from a variety of different sources, and there are different things that have happened in the past, and will happen in the future, that will pivot on a VIP Code.
For now, Fordy is right, it is bragging rights.
