Based on popular demand, we’ve put together a series of hands-on, entry-level classes to teach basic auto body and restoration techniques to the do-it-yourself-er, he;d at our shop in Wylie, TX. Learn about topics like repairing structural and non-structural parts of the car, surface prep and refinishing, and installing electrical components, presented in a 2-day format perfect for the classic or muscle car hobbyist. NOW BOOKING: “Bodywork Basics,” running Saturday and Sunday June 11-12, 2011. This beginner’s course that will introduce you to auto body theory and techniques with hands-on and Q&A sessions. As anyone who has attempted bodywork on their own may know, what seems like a straightforward process actually entails lots of knowledge, procedures, and troubleshooting skills. At the end of Bodywork Basics, you will have a complete overview of steps necessary to create a sound foundation for paint. After all, a paint job is only as good as what lies underneath!
