The 1936 Lincoln Zephyr was the first year of the ZEPHYR Model and only 4 door and 2 door sedan were made. They all had V-12 engines. They were light weight (They were uni-body and did not have a separate frame).
History of this Vehicle
I bought this Zephyr in 1989 to use as parts car to help restore a 2 door sedan for a customer at my auto repair shop (Bruce’s Auto Repair) in Green Valley Arizona. Many of the original parts were used on the 2 door Zephyr. I found that I had enough of the body parts left to get the car back on the road and if I were to Street Rod the car the cost would not be that expensive. I finished the Zephyr in June of 1990 and made my first trip to Hotchkiss, Colorado in it from Arizona. I have been driving the Zephyr since 1990 and as of January 1st. 2011, I have driven 85,500 miles.
Plans for this Vehicle
