What do you mean, the rod bearing only lasted 42 years?!?

Ok, update on daughters mustang. The 289 that we put in, that was un-touched since 1968, just lost a rod bearing. (shame they don’t make a motor that can last 50 years, huh!). All kidding aside, it was a great motor that lasted far longer than it ever should have, after all, it out lived 2 cars and was in its third when it gave out! So now we step up to an 89’ 5.0 roller motor for the stang. Ditching the injection in favor of the carb, but keeping the electronic ign. and the c4. New pics soon.
