What a shame! A 'Bow Tie' hardtop stuck in the mud NOT 2 miles from my home!.....I missed buying it by a week!

I kinda live in the country BUT very close to the lake. It never ceases to amaze me the cars that I’ve found around here….like this ‘51 or ‘52 Chevy hardtop or the ‘31 Chrysler in an abandonned shed!
Don’t farmers drive tractors? Even my Dad, the Businessman, couldn’t afford a hradtop back in the day, eh?
I do understand that this car went to a nearby city to be converted into a street rod or Custom. Over the years I’ve watched to see if I could spot it resurrected and enjoying a NEW life….NO such Luck, I’m afraid…..maybe another one of those unfulfilled dreams? Maybe it’s back out in somebodies field behind another barn. What a waste!

I agree that its horrible that people let old gems like this sit around and rot, thinking they’ll get to them one day. i know where a complete ‘69 Z28 is sitting. the owner won’t sell it, saying that his son in florida wants the car. its been sitting around this guys yard for as long as i can remember, only under cover when the leaves come out on the trees. its a shame….

I seen so many cars rotting away because their owners are (gonna fix them up someday). Then they die and by then the cars are beyond fixing up. Too bad.
