BMCD transaxle by Joe Huffaker
I took the passenger side alxe apart and found out the bearing had failed. After speaking with Joe Huffaker Jr., I am making the adjustments he recommended. Out with the Corvette half shafts, in with the Porsche 944 axles. Thanks Joe Jr.
Update: 12/20/12 I have removed the Corvette half shafts, installed an upper arm, had adapters made and installed Porsche axles. I needed about 3/8” in and out movement on the axle shafts, using this Porsche units I have 1-3/8”. Very pleased and thankful for Joe Huffaker Jr. for the recommendation.
