Harvey Wickliffe, a kerosene saleman from Pataskala (a small town in southwest corner of Licking County) who delivered kerosene by horse and buggy added a second tank to his buggy and marked it gasoline. And in 1912 he opened his first Standard Oil Gas Station in Columbus, OH.
