This is the only ‘51 R3-4 that I have record of. All M-H references say the single speed R3-4 was only produced through 1950. The other ‘51/’52 surviving trucks that I have archived have the two speed transfer case and were given the R32-4 designation.

History of this Vehicle

Idaho truck all its working life but found in Oregon.

Felt like I was entering a scene from the movie Deliverance going to pick this one up!
