Business Getting Better?

I hope this post doesn’t jinx me or anyone reading it, but there appears to be signs of life out there! March was a strong month, April is starting that way. Hope this is a good “sign of the times” that our economy is beginning to recover. Don’t get me wrong, I know there are still lots of folks out of work, but it appears we are beginning to see some extra cash being put back into business out there. What are you seeing?

I work as a partsman at a GM dealership in Canada and notice that the last few months have picked up, infact we are hiring another partsman to keep up. I agree that the economy has picked up although Canada hasn’t felt the recession as badly as the Americans.

I don’t know for sure, who does, but I think we still have a ways to go. I’ve been in the process of closing my shop since December but each month just enough comes in to keep me there… same thing happened yesterday.

This past Holiday season, we usually slow down but not this last time. BUT NOW things have dropped off. I’m not sure if it’s because of spring break but, these past two weeks have not been good.
